July 4th Thursday: Independence Day Holiday Celebration

Free chat room closed for July 4th Independence Day to celebrate America's independence from British rule. In 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress. The written declaration stated that the American colonies were tired of being ruled by Great Britain. We wanted to become our own country.

Typical Celebrations: Fireworks, family reunions, concerts, barbecues, picnics, parades, baseball games with family and friends. Typically, my family and I fly to the States for a vacation to be with family for the week of July 4th. Family and I have tickets for the 2nd annual Nascar race in Chicago.
